Winter gloves are a difficult balancing act. Enough insulation so you start a ride warm means you’ll have sweaty mitts after half an hour. Not enough and you face the misery of thawing frozen finger tips. The SixSixOne Transition glove gets the balance right though. It’s enough to take the chill, off at the start of the ride, it doesn’t get too slick inside as the action hots up and the windproof outer stops the rapid cooling effects of descents. The back of hand protection is enough to make a difference but still comfy to wear. The generous snot wipe is much appreciated as well. Russ. Raji Glove Review : “We Love ‘em…”“Minimal faff, maximum style and comfort. We love ’em for everything from cross-country to downhill” Seen adorning so many top riders, the Raji glove has become a bit of a legend in terms of style and fit. It’s all about simplicity, style and comfort. “Fantastic pedal-friendly knee protection”They’re super mobile for uninterrupted pedaling and the twin straps give good security, even if you end up on your hands and knees at speed. Your knees will get sweaty if you don’t wash them regularly and obviously you’ll need shin guards if you want lower leg protection.
