MBUK : Transition Glove Review

transitionThese are protective and comfortable gloves for those days that start cold but soon warm up.

Winter gloves are a difficult balancing act. Enough insulation so you start a ride warm means you’ll have sweaty mitts after half an hour. Not enough and you face the misery of thawing frozen finger tips. The SixSixOne Transition glove gets the balance right though. It’s enough to take the chill, off at the start of the ride, it doesn’t get too slick inside as the action hots up and the windproof outer stops the rapid cooling effects of descents. The back of hand protection is enough to make a difference but still comfy to wear. The generous snot wipe is much appreciated as well. Russ.

Raji Glove Review : “We Love ‘em…”

MBK223.tested.raji_prev-399-75

“Minimal faff, maximum style and comfort. We love ’em for everything from cross-country to downhill”

Seen adorning so many top riders, the Raji glove has become a bit of a legend in terms of style and fit. It’s all about simplicity, style and comfort.
The back is ultra thin and breathable mesh – unchanged from previous versions. Rubberised 661 logos replace the previous screen printed logos and have ridges that create an optical illusion when you move your hand.
The thin, tactile palm gives great bar feel and the one-piece synthetic leather padding between thumb and forefinger and onto the palm is burlier than before.
Improved stitching adds to durability. The fit is still excellent and the cuff is nice and tight. All doubts about it feeling less comfy because of the added features were blown away after our first ride.
It looks like it’s gonna be another good year for the Raji. Full Review @ Bike Radar

“Fantastic pedal-friendly knee protection”

sixsixonekylestraitkneeguard-399-75

They’re super mobile for uninterrupted pedaling and the twin straps give good security, even if you end up on your hands and knees at speed. Your knees will get sweaty if you don’t wash them regularly and obviously you’ll need shin guards if you want lower leg protection. Full Review @ Bike Radar
